Painting on Yupo Paper ARS100
Yupo is a unique synthetic alternative to traditional painting papers. Non-porous and non-absorbent it can be used with watercolor, alcohol and India inks, or acrylics to create vibrant works of art. If you would like to walk on the wild side and experience its distinctive properties, this class is for you.
Here is the materials list:
1 - pad of yupo paper (11" x 14") or 1 large sheet-74 lb. Don not buy translucent yupo. Available at Jerry's Art a Rama, Dick Blick or Cheap Joe's Art Supplies or Amazon. If ordering online, allow a week to 10 days for delivery.
good water color paints and pallete
2 or 3 watercolor brushes round or flats
non-absorbent board to adhere yupo paper to - such as gatorboard, masonite, plexiglass (no cardboard)
plastic container for water
a small pill bottle container of rubbing alcohol
old bath towel you don't care about
hair dryer, sharpie pens, alcohol ink and India Inks
