Citizenship

Are you in the process of becoming a citizen of the United States? Join our citizenship preparation classes.

Learn about the naturalization process as outlined in the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requirements. Weekly classes focus on the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, the civics exam questions, U.S. history and government, and the naturalization interview. The necessary qualifications and documents needed for filing will also be reviewed in depth.

Those seeking to be naturalized citizens of the United States should join the class before submitting their Form N-400 application. In addition to classroom instruction, students will be given study guide materials and homework assignments.

Middletown Adult Education offers citizenship classes to students at the intermediate and advanced levels.
