Old Saybrook

Middletown Adult Education offers instruction to shoreline students at its Old Saybrook facility. Located at 210 Main Street, the site offers students the opportunity to attend daytime and evening classes.

Adult High School Credit Diploma Program (AHSCDP):

The Old Saybrook facility offers students between the ages of 17 and 21 access to computers and distance learning classes which are taught from the Middletown site. Students can also access the internet and use video resources as they complete their studies. They work with certified academic instructors, instructional aides and a counselor as they complete the credits needed for a Middletown Adult High School diploma.

National External Diploma Program (NEDP):

The NEDP is offered at the Old Saybrook site for the convenience of those who live and/or work in this area. NEDP is a program for mature adults who can demonstrate their skills through the successful completion of a series of assignments. It is confidential, self-paced and offers flexible scheduling. Participants meet with their NEDP advisor/assessor once a week. We also provide a Learning Lab with resources and computers to help you with your assignments.  Please call 860-388-1281 for available appointments or more information.  Day and evening appointments are offered.

ESL:

Classes are offered in English as a Second Language and Citizenship.
